Wow! I can't believe it's actually been over a year since my last journal entry..the time really flew by. I haven't submitted new pictures here as much as I'd like but I've been busy with various other projects including trying to finish off my latest comic. Since last we spoke..the Cubs have been swept in the playoffs, the Bears have gone from the Superbowl to the Tidybowl and everyone and their grandma is being investigated for Steroid use. I'm now a married man and my daughter has reached the 'terrible 2's'. So what does this all have to do with my art and your interest in my life? Nothing at all...just sharing a few thoughts. It's here! Another year..This one is what?....2007? I sure hope it's better than 06, or 05 for that matter. I don't mean to sound like a grump, but I'm expecting more out of this year. In fact I've been expecting more since 2000. It's not that the world is in bad shape [eventhough it is] but it hardly seems to be advancing. I remember when I was little I'd watch movies or television shows about life in the future and there would be moving sidewalks, flying cars, personal jetpacks, etc.. This is just a time for relaxing and planning. I've got some things in the works for this new graphic design studio I'm building, but I don't want to overtax myself. I've been spending alot of time online chatting with friends [Hi. Karl] and it's giving me alot of insight to what lies before me. Thanx to all my friends both old and especially new for encouragement.  This is my new lighthouse and I'll make sure all my ships come in!
